Fogo’s Transatlantic Sessions

Every foot was tapping in an evening of AMAZING traditional music (with a few contemporary improv flourishes from Harris Playfair on keyboards). Red Hot Chilli Piper Kyle Howie played 3 sets of pipes and, in a quiet moment between jigs and reels, explained the difference between Lowland, Highland and Irish pipes. Kyle was superbly supported by Anna Olafsson on fiddle, Molly Adcock on fiddle, Neil Adcock on boran, Dan Lyst on boran, Martha Cardess on Fiddle and Isaac Uden, also on fiddle. Anna and Isaac are also artists funded by Marchmont Trust whose work in silver and carpentry is available to view at Marchmount House. We also livestreamed the concert to an international audience. A great start to our season of entertainment at Fogo!
