A Premiere Event!

It’s not often that our red carpet is used for a premiere - but on Sunday 26th April the Cheviot Wind Trio treated us to Scotland’s first performance of a piece of music specially commissioned for flautist John Harris. And we were doubly thrilled to have composer and jazz clarinetist Dick Lee in attendance. With an additional treat from trio Scottish Blend: Harris, Heather and Sam Lord, playing a new arrangement (by Harris) of the slow movements from Ravel’s and Gershwin’s Piano Concertos, plus other fabulous classics.
